“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” is a quote often attributed to Mahatma Gandhi but not actually what he said. The following message was Mahatma Gandhi’s.
"We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do."
And from Martin Luther King, "Make a career of humanity ... and you will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country and a finer world to live in.’
The change we have been waiting for, if you’re not already engaged in it’s co-creativity, wait no longer. The time is Now. The life force, which may have felt diminished of late, is returning. If you have been feeling a little - or a lot - lost, the last month or so, you’ll now find your sense of direction return. Your heart can open further now as you see greater potential in yourself and the world around you.
"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.” Martin Luther King
The Tarot card associated with Aries is The Emperor.
The energy of this card is of visionary leadership. I often refer to him as “the Director of the Board”. The Emperor’s beard tells us he is wisened. The Ankh which he holds in one hand has the meaning “Key of Life” and the orb which he holds in the other hand represents the world which he oversees. His robe is red, representing fiery passion for which Aries is well known. The message of this card is to create order and structure and a strong foundation from which you can build your vision.
You may like to light a candle for this meditation.
Focus on the flame of the candle and then picture this flame within your lower belly, your power centre (the Hara in Japanese and the system and practice of Reiki; the Dan tien in Chinese which literally means red field).
You may feel the warmth of this energy inside you… and feel it grow.
Feel your creative life force.
Bring to the mind’s eye the vision of the life you wish to create and participate in.
Hold the Intention that it be for the good of all.
Harness this energy for healing and focused manifestation.
Live your truth from this day forwards, knowing that life can and will be different.
Finally, if you feel to, bring your hands to prayer position (Gassho in the Reiki tradition) and feel the Gratitude for your own Divine spark within.
Many Blessings for New Beginnings.
