New moon in Sagittarius

"What didn’t you do to bury me ~ But you forgot that I was a seed."

Dinos Christianopoulos

We’re now out of the deep, and at times, seemingly treacherous waters of Scorpio. Having reached the mutable fiery energy of Sagittarius, it’s time to re-ignite the spark and rise again and to distill the gifts and messages from the watery season.

Sagittarius is represented by the archer who aims his arrow at the truth. He is a centaur, half man, half horse; symbolising both the attempt to free oneself from man’s lower nature of animal desire, as well as his spiritual aspirations.

(S)He is the wisdom seeker and vision quester who is represented in Tarot by card 14. Temperance.

You will see in this card, one foot in the water of the emotion and feelings, and one on the Earth plane of the physical world. All elements are represented in this card and the pour and flow between the cups suggests the alchemical process, indicating that you are now able to bring balance, patience and moderation in your life.

In your mind’s eye, you may like to see yourself enter the card and become part of its scene. You may then like to observe and contemplate it's images. You might imagine yourself as the angel or as an element in the card. Tune into your thoughts and feelings.

What questions arise (if any)?

What answers might you seek?

What dreams may you envision?

Intention Activation.

You may like to light a candle.

Sit and close your eyes.

Place your hands on your Hara (power centre) just below the belly button.

Tune into this centre and imagine a spark within becoming a small flame.

Feel the warmth of this flame and then see or feel it growing until you feel it warming your entire body.

This fire is purifying. It is also your fuel.

Now see yourself as the archer, bow and arrow in hand. The arrow is your seed.

Bring to mind’s eye your goal or vision for what you intend to create at this time, and then,

Ready, Aim, Fire!

At any time when you might feel low on energy, or lacking in vision, you can use this technique to re-energize.

“Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.” Rumi
